UNDER THE LIGHT of a bright full moon, the Chapel Spire dominates the Campus XTENDING above the treetops, the spire of our Chapel undoubtedly will remain the symbol of Culver longest visible as we leave the Campus. It seems appropriate that this should be so. No structure can more eloquently represent the values which we shall be carrying away. Further, the Chapel seems, in a sense, peculiarly ours. We have watched it rise: and we have recognized in its growth a symbol of the basic quality of our school. Refusing to accept the present as its measure, Culver strives constantly toward higher goals and an even better future. Let us look forward to the first glimpse which we, returning as alumni, shall catch of this noble tower. 25
