STANDING: Harlan Limmer, ING: Bob Freebairn, Allan Gelber, Bob Gary Springer. 41f Sorenson, Mark Foss, Mike Nail. 2 Q 'Zin . 9 'Q T' , - V If . -s Y'-vi?-1-4k yv 1 f From the start it was evident that the Varsity track team wouldn't live up to its record of the pre- vious season. So, wisely, Coaches Bill O'Rourke and Jim Powell de- cided to build a Bee team that would be ready for top Varsity contention next year. They worked with the Bee team, taking them through many tough meets for that needed experience and it paid off. In the league finals the Bee team swept past all opposi- tion and took the Pioneer League Bee Championship by 20 points over their nearest rival, The Cees, led by sprinter Mike Nail and Greg Elliott in the 660, took fourth place with only a few men. Wait 'till next year for the top track team in Culver his- tory. 'aW,'.. 5I-Q , . -' lf? A
