CRGSS COU TRY This year's cross-country team had a long and hard season, but they faced it with enthusiasm and determination. A large number of guys ran during the season, and they competed well as a team with no individual standouts. The girls team, however, was just the opposite since they had only three girls that competed all season long, not even enough for a team. Individually they had a successful season. This culminated with Laurie Kennemer as the highest finisher at state 17th placel, Brandy Murphy finished her fourth solid year as a cross-country runner, and Sharon Freeman provided the group with a great deal of encouragement while also placing very well in meets. Coach Jim Miller thought both teams had good seasons, and, by running with them in practice, provided strong motivation and great leadership throughout the season.
