He received a teaching certificate and a Master's of Arts degree in education from Eastern Michigan University. He has been married to Martha Kusz for twenty- six years. He has one son, Robert, who is twenty-two years old and is now attending Athens College. His daughter, Brenda, is twenty years old and attends Wallace College. Belinda, his younger daughter, is a sophomore here at Cullman. Mr. Kusz enjoys his position as Marketing Education Coordinator at CHS because it enables him to help vocational students bridge the gap between the classroom and the world of work.
