ELECTIVES Mr. Taylor has been married to Jan Taylor for thirteen years. They have two daughters - Erin who is three, and Hanna who is five months. In his free time he enjoys camping, hiking, ping- pong, and listening to all kinds of music - except country and western. He also enjoys playing in the All-Conductors Orchestra. He holds a B.S. in music education from Auburn University and also a M.A. and A.A. from the University of North Alabama. He was band director at Brooks High School in Lauderdale County for seven years and at Hanceville High School for one year. This school year was special to him because he had the privilege to work with an outstanding group of Seniors in the band, and for the first time, he worked with fifth graders from East and West Elementary Schools in beginner band. His advice: Focus on what you are involved in at the moment. Streamline your thoughts and energy toward the goals you set for yourself.
