Mrs. Tekulve taught at Cold Springs for eleven and one-half years before she came to Cullman four years ago. She enjoys playing tennis, running, and listening to and playing music. Mrs. Tekulve attended Cullman High School and then graduated from St. Bernard College. She completed her graduate work at University of Alabama - Birmingham. She has taught history in grades 9-12, was a librarian one year Ca mean onej, NHS Teacher of the year, and Teacher Hall of Fame nominee. With all of this, it's no wonder she says, 'fMy children are convinced that l have taught every citizen in Cullman. In her personal life, she is married to Thomas E. Tiffin who is a businessman. She has one son, Thomas Jr., who is an attorney in Birmingham, and two perfect grandchildren - Jon Michael fsevenj and Robert Thomas ffivel. In her free time she loves walking, swimming, golf, and reading. This year has been special to her because she started eating ice cream while she sits in the sun. Dr. Green Healthg Lifetime Sports Mrs. Perry graduated from Athens College with a B.S. in education. She majored in chemistry and minored in biology and math. She said, This year would be special to me ifl could instill in the students as much enthusiasm and interest for the subject they are taking as l have.
