CI-IS We have a very pretty young lady in our midst at Cullman High School. She is in tenth grade this year and is talented in the areas of dance, singing, and modeling. In case you do not recognize this description, it is referring to Miss Shannon Nesmith. This year, she has taken several trips to California to appear on Star Search '87 where she advanced to the semi-finals. In addition to her many other talents, she composes and records some of her own songs. She began her career performing on The Country Boy Eddie Show. She is a rising star and there is no doubt her name will be known throughout the music scene. Although she is a very busy young lady, she still finds time to study and be involved in other school activities. She won the 1986 Miss Southerner Pageant, and she is also a Cullman High School cheerleader. Did you know . . . the last time the football team went as far in the state playoffs as this year s team was in 1978 when they finished second?
