BUSINESS STAFF-Betty Vandiver, Business Man Annie Bell Arnold ager, Dennis Woodard, Photographer, Mrs Bailey S onsor. Editor of THE HlLlGHT P STUDENT THE SOUTHERNER is entirely new from kiver to kiver. The annual staff is overworked, underpaid, thought lowly of by non-pictured students, disgraced in the public eye when an error is found, made examples of by the sponsor, forced to worry about deadlines which should have been met a week ago, and threatened by their other teachers about sleeping in class and not having their homework-all brought on by burning midnight oil work- ing on THE SOUTHERNER. Laying all foolishness aside, the journalism staff has striven to bring to sub- scribers a better than ever annual.
