Class History In thls our Semor year we realize that our dreams of four years w1ll come true We started m our Freshman year 1950 51 with a large class of thlrty eight Amos Maynard and Mlldred Osborne were our sponsors Of the Orlglhal 38 members there are 14 ln the present class Two of the boys are In Servlce W1ll1s R Porter IS 'ln the U S Navv and Frank Meade IS ln the U S Alr Force Jean Stroud and Lots Trail are marrled also Chester McCoy and Dewey Copley As we went mto the tenth grade we had a class of 27 and as you can see It was a much smaller one than the preceedlng year Charles Allen was our Sponsor We acquired slx new members They were jane Hodge Duard Gartxn Mildred Maynard Ramona Cox Faye Marcum and Paul Salmons All are graduatmg wlth us except Ramona Cox and Paul Salmons who are rnarrlecl now The class offlcers that year were Bob Lester Paulme Parsley Geneva Marcum and Gladys Parsley It was Indeed a wonderful school year In the fall of l95Z we found ourselves to be junlors of Crum High School That year we lost s1x members who were Augustus Porter Freddy Stamper Lols Trail Gladys Parsley Paul Salmons and Rosa Lee Beck Freddy and Rosa Lee are husband and wlfe Paul and Lois are marrled and Gladys IS golng to Fort Gay I-hgh School We also gained Anna Copley as a new member The class offlcers that year were E11 Crum Elmer Dxllon Anna Copley Geneva Marcum and Paulme Parsley Our sponsor was George Dawson who stxll IS We w1sh to thank h1m fo h1s help through our unlor year We had our .IUHIOT Senior Banquet ln May 1953 and had a most enjoyable evenmg Time has gone so fast we can hardly reallze that we are now Semors of Crum High School We lost three members this year E11 Crum who has enrolled ln another school Ramona Cox who IS a housewxfe and Ruth Mar um The present class offlcers are Presldent Elmer Dxllon Vxce Presldent Bob Lester Secretary Geneva Marcum Treasurer Anna M Copley As ue look 1nto the future we regret leavmg our frlends but we go with the feellng of sornethmg accompllshed We w1sh to thank all our frlends and teachers and hope that all the future classes wlll have as much pleasure as we Geneva Marcum O Y I O I - - . . .
