What Is a Senior? Leaving for school half asleep every morning . . . racing for that vertical parking space . . . annoying hall passes . . . rushing to get to classes before the tardy bell . . . tests, study- ing and hard work! . . . slaving over ACT . . . ads, candy, shirts, light bulbs, annuals, you name it, we sold it! . . . meas- uring for our caps and gowns . . . looking forward to getting out of school . . . leaving behind those unusual lunchroom meals! (finally) . . . weeping over our last ballgame . . . choosing a college . . . worrying about finding a summer job . . . debating on whether to tie the knot . . . long boring play practices and the thrill of performing before the audience . . . our boys yelling with us to make this the most spirited cheer- ing section in CHS history . . . sending out invitations . . . unforgetful and precious memories of our last prom . . . our farewell cruise to the Bahamas . . . dreading parting with friends . . . the long awaited but tearful walk for our diplomas which ended a memorable year of striving and searching for freedom to be . . .
