B. ROUSI-I, OUR BELOVED PRINCIPAL OF 1951. As he looked in the glass object again he found FRANCES BIRT fbetter known as Glamorous Gussre, the movre queenj takmg on a sun tan on the sunny shores of Alaska Now we fmd that Mr McCullough has dropped hrs lrttle glass ball and broken rt so he cannot see m rt any more, so so long Seam gluing Durrng September 1948 frfteen Freshres entered Crook Hrgh School to bcgm therr careers as hrgh school students In sprte of the sly and doubtful glances grven us by the upper classmen, we started our journey wrth eager hearts The boys out numbered the grrls by two, but the grrls drdn t mmd In 1949 we entered as Sophomores ready to take up our work agarn We had passed the name GREEN to the freshmen of 49 and they took therr lot as parrently as we drd Kenneth Noltmg, Fern Zuelsdorf Jorned our class The class was sponsored by Mr Budd Durrng the summer vacatron we lost two members of our class, Shu ley Schott, and Jtm Moore When the doors of Crook Hrgh opened agam rn 1950 we had a new junror grrl, Frances Brrt makrng 13 peppy Junrors to complete the Junror actrvrtres The Iunlor class presented a play, MYSTERY AT MIDNIGHT on November 29th and lots of tal ent was drscovered m the class thus makmg the presentauon a pleasant surprrse The hrgh lrght of our tumor year was the Junror Semor Banquet and Prom, cartled out ln sa a Rarnbow theme Mrs Taylor, our class sponsor deserved much credrt for the suc cess of the banquet and prom Another summer had passed and we found ourselves Senrors at last what a glorr ous feelrng to be called drgnrfred senrors Our class play that was presented was PETTICOAT RANCH rt was the outstandmg actrvrty of 1951 The play was very cap ably drrecred by Mr McCullough our sponsor We senrors hated to thmk that that was the last hrgh school play U1 whrch we would ever be able to partrcrpate rn Most of . . 1 .
