Though they did well as individuals, the wrestling team lacked sufficient men to defeat many opponents in dual matches. High point men were Willie and Fred Lyles. Henzy Green and Wally Tyler were outstanding freshmen. The two seniors, Lyles and Sheldon Yates, plan to continue wrestl- ing in college. Green, Tyler, Sam Hawkins, Steve Shepherd, Marcus Duckett, Bob Clemens and Fred Lyles plan to wrestle again next year. HOMECOMING WORTH GCLD Q 5 , W -1 and The ROTC honor guard and marching band present opening Homecoming ceremonies. The members of her court Homecoming tor Crispus Attucks was, in essence, just that. It brought our team its first victory of the season, in spite of Wood's 13 to 6 lead at half-time. At half-time our marching band gave a most excellent show. Near the end of half- time, the suspense and tension was brought to a climax, as Sharon Burnett, escorted by Greg Boyd, was given the honor of being Homecoming Queen. With renewed strength, the Attucks' Tigers went on to a shattering victory of 21 to 13 over Wood.
