Senior Girls' Glee Club
HISPERED lullabies of the pine tree, like the musical voices of young girls,
soothe the hearts of the world.
The past year has been one of great success for the Senior Girls' Clee Club
under the direction of Miss Dickinson.
The first semester was a busy one. Two assemblies were held in which the
Glee Club took an active part, one at Thanksgiving and the other at Christmas.
During the Christmas holidays the girls caroled at the Kent, Regent, and Majestic
theatres and also sang at the Armory for the Teachers' Convention in October.
The annual concert was given in February and another followed in May.
At the beginning of the second semester thirty names were added to the former
thirty of the membership roll.
The oflicers are as follows:

Mixed Glee Club
'Vind beyond them stood the forest.
Stood the groves of singing pine trees,"
OICES of boys and girls blending together bring to those who hear, music as
sweet as the murmur of pines under a moonlit sky.
The Mixed Glee Club, which is under the direction of Mr. Glover, is doing
fine work in voice training. One of its achievements was a musical program pref
sented in May when the Glee Club sang many choice selections.
The club also took part in a concert given in February.
The chorus had two very competent pianists: Agnes Ghysels, the Hrst scmesterg
and Mary Ann Welch, the second semester.

hrings enjoyment to its audiences.
Under the direction of Miss Dickinson, the cluh has furnished many interesting

Outstanding talent represented Creston in the A. Cappella chorus and in the
