Despite its comparative youthful' ness, it has proved itself to be composed of a very energetic group of science students. Membership is extended to students having taken Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany and General Science, providing the student has a passing grade in all subjects and at least a "C" grade in Science. The club has a membership of approximately twenty-five at the present time. The object of the club is to enlarge scientific knowledgeg to develop scientific matterg to develop the art of the presentation of scientific matter, and, to develop museum and library facilities. The work involved is much more of a problem than that of a social organization. How- ever, the club has an extensive program in mind and if their efforts meet with success, the work of the club will prove to be very interesting. Speakers are secured for the meetings which are held every other Friday at 3:30. Trips have been arranged to study some particular industry in Grand Rapids. Expeditions taking in a greater territory and involving more important scientific industries are also being planned. Mr. Wood is faculty sponsor of the club.
