When a boy does this he automatically becomes a "C" Club member. The first two years little was done by the Club as it had nothing to work for. The first president was Orlo Dennis. E. james Parady The boys held their annual "Varsity Dance" in October and it proved to be a huge success. The Club agreed to and carried out the plan of having postal cards marked with a "C" to be sent to Alumni members notifying them of meetings. The Club for the lirst time decided to have a speaker at each meeting and it helped to make them more interesting. The membership for this year was rather small at first because most of the letter-men had graduated with the class of '27. Later, the membership was increased by the winners of football, basketball and track letters. Its purpose is to promote better spirit throughout the school and to assist with new yells. The club this year has not only assisted with yells at the games but has also started new ones.
