The teams owe a great deal to Miss Segerman for all the time she spent with them, both
in coaching and refereeing. The knowledge of fair play and loyalty which characterized the
games was largely due to the example Miss Segerman set for the girls.

JUNIOR TEAM .
Girls' Basketball
THIS year the Senior girls were represented in the interfclass basketball tournament by two
teams under the leadership of Berdella Green and Lena DeYoung. Berdella's team played
three games and lost three, while I..ena's team, which was more fortunate, played three games
' and lost one. XM
The Juniors were represented by a group of three teams led by Dorothy Loingcore,
Eleanor Guenther, and Dorothy Calrow. , '
The Seniors were surpassed by the Juniors, winning but two of six games. fx
The girls showed very good-sportsmanship throughout the season. The games were
snappy and close, the last two requiring overftime periods to decide the victors. Both classes
showed themselves to be good winners or losers whichever the occasion called for. 'Due to
the good spirit, good sportsmanship, and clean play the girls had an interesting and worthwhile
basketball season.
