ss as A DTfWWfWWfWWVWIWW5WVWi The Class of Twenty-eight There's a class in Creston High School 'Tis the Class of Twenty-eight, Though there's been temptation to the best We have stuck until this date. We measure strength with effort, And we've set our goal so high To give the best that's in us, Is the least that we can my We have followed our instructions While 'twas stormy and while clear, The best that we were capable Through each advancing year. As we leave our Alma Mater And our teachers, tried and true, Then may we meet on life's way More worthy still of you. We, the class of nineteen twenty-eight, Are all gathered now to part. . We have improved each shining hour, In our mind and soul and heart. Rejoice for friend and teachers, Who did our standards rate. Goodfbye, good luck, God bless you Our class of twentyfeight. WILVER BROWN. 000 Builders We are builders of a mighty ship so fair Which is ready to be launched upon seas of hidden care. We've built the massive sides upon a well'made keel, We've made the vessel large and strong like steel. We will wave a famous ensign on the banner staff above Which, to shipfwrecked mariners, will mean strength and love. In the early days of Norsemen, ships were made as though an artg Greatest care was always given to each small and unseen part. just the same our lives we shape with the mighty tool of time We have built a strong, firm base, where our feet can start to climb. The seas of cares are tides of life, the ship a foundation true, The ensign on our banner staff is dear old maize and blue. With the past for fond remembrance and a future bright and clear We can face our coming tasks without the slightest fear. We pass to toil, to conquer-our task to build a name, Ah, fate, what kindness can be given in life's race of fame? ELIZABETH ANDERSON. ,5WfXTVFTTWFQWFiffTLQi 1 Q 2 s Ewmmmmomtfri E681
