JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS Maw '
The Junior Class
THE junior Class of 1928 has been very progressive in all of its undertakings because of its
willing spirit and the ability to carry out that which had been assumed.
The Class has been 100570 in all of its projects. It was the only class that had 10094:
in the Echo subscription both semesters. "Always IOOW' was chosen as the class motto,
In keeping with all of its other class activities, the Iuniors made a most amazing decision
and have worked it out very successfully. Early in the year they decided to have no class
dues but to earn all the money needed for class expenses by their own efforts. ,Candy,
doughnut and ice cream sales and a sale of old magazines and papers, brought in enough
money and to spare, to pay the debts incurred by the class. Not only the idea, but even
the method of realizing it, was very novel.
The Junior Party which was given in March was a huge success. The spirit that
dominated the party was one of friendliness and cooperation and was the underlying reason
for the successful outcome.
The Juniors showed much wisdom in the choosing of class oilicers. Their president,
Harold De Windt, is the best orator in Crestong he won state championship in the declamatory
contestg their vicefpresident, Evelyn Van Bree, won the scholarship award last year, and their
secretaryftreasurer, Elias Rosendall, is a star athlete, the captain of the 1929 basketball team.
