The name Thespians was derived from a Greek act- or named Thespis. Thespis was the first known actor to use masks to represent different characters and emot- ions. The selection is based on leadership, character, scholarship, and service to the school made each semes- ter. Secretary Georgeann Bartle Arliss Saffell V.
