J. T: eau:-q itae asaidae , Diary of Freshman Class Sept. 8-We entered school today numbering fortyfseven and have the honor of being one of the two largest freshman classes in the history of C. H. S. We were greeted by a hearty ap- plause from the upper classes. Sept. 1lfWe were entertained by the Juniors at Shaw's Woods and duly initiated into this institution of higher learning. Sept. 18+We gave a return party for the Juniors at Hawk's Woods. Oct. l8fWe regret the loss of a member todayfCharles Hodge. Oct. 29-A Halloween party with Wade Reneger as host which makes this a red letter day. Nov. 3-We were glad to welcome Margaret Ries to our class. Barberton's loss is our gain. Nov, 30-We all survived the Thanksgiving feast and are ready for work again. Dec. 1fDorothy Strouse joined our ranks from Burbank. Dec. 3+What happened to Mr. Dawson's camera today? We had our pictures taken for the annual. Dec. 24fWe displayed our talent in a Christmas program at chapel. an. 22--After the basketball game a farewell part was iven for Viola Ramse cr who is leavin Y g Y g SOOD. Feb. '5fOur girls certainly put it over on the Sophomores in basketball with a score of 30'22. Feb. 9+C. H. S. was represented in the oratorical contest by Roy Amstutz of our class.
