Meetings were held monthlyg a party was given in December, when Miss Zina Fessenden and Miss Lucille Dreckman were guestsg and a picnic was planned for May 19. The club emblem is a gold pin, shaped like an open book with a quill pen lying across it. The colors are green and white. K Commercial Club The purpose of the Commercial Club was to earn money to pay the expenses of the typing and shorthand teams. It consisted of twenty-one members from the junior and senior classes, and was sponsored by Mr. McCuistion and Mr. Ryan. Girls' Club The following recipe was chosen for the Girls' Club sandwich for 1933-34: Select carefully girls of fine spirit and even disposition. Remove any crusts of brusqueness and misunderstanding. Bind together with a filling made of equal parts of co-operation, intensive work, and good programs, seasoned well with pep. Arrange in any school or on any campus, and garnish with a sprig of appreciation. That this recipe, when carefully followed, never fails was shown in Cresco High the past year.
