A TRIBUTE TO JANAI Memories cross my mind, seems lil e YESTERDAY that we were walking across the stage in 9th grade. Just YESTERDAY we went to our last football game together. Just YESTERDAY we saw her smile that made a day a perfect one. Just YESTERDAY we had an argument and were ready to go at each other ' s throats. Just YESTERDAY we all made up. Just YESTERDAY Janai, Michon, Paula and Danita were walking home from a game. Just YESTERDAY Janai was shot behind her ear. Just YESTERDAY we were all laughing and playing around with her. TODAY she ' s gone! Not gone and forgotten, but gone as far as the eye can see, but as far as our hearts could feel, Janai is not now and never will be memories of YESTERDAY but an angel of TODAY.
