Six precious minutes to wander from class to class —to hunt for buried books, rumpled gym clothes, and squashed sack lunches or to work frantically on a locker combination. Frequently, it took the entire break for the cross-campus jogs from the 800 building to the isolated bunga- lows by the gymnasium. With 3,500 Colts rushing out of class, the stairways and passageways seemed smaller and more crowded than in previous years. But the spirit of Crawford was intensified as the corridors rang with the warm laughter, shouts, and greetings of the friendly Colts. ia a nae: During lunch, there was time for socializing on the quad steps. : abi Colts began the long trek to a class across campus.
