This noble class, industrious-though not Very, Elected me class prophet on the 6th of February, Of course, it being my first attempt, I've often wished I'd been exempt- Nevertheless, if I must say, The first of us to catch a beau, Welre sure will be our Norma Rowe. Hazel Avery will be star of Movie Queens, And Willie will be grower of prize beans. Kathleen will be a missionary, And Gladys will run a female seminary. Now Johnnie with her Winning Ways, Will be deserving of our praise, As wife of a banker in a large city, She is a leader in society. Lula and Nell will find a way, To make brains think on examination day. Our next long name-Helen Laughinghouse, We hope and trust will be made shorter- So instead of-Laughinghousc-as We've always had 'em- We think it will be changed to Mrs. Bill Adams. Charlotte will be writing Essays on Elirtationn- And Leon will engage in French Pronunciation - Harmon will draw cartoons in every Way, And Beulah will write a history of yesterday and today. Annie will go to Europe on many diplomatic missions, And Mary will be in college, still memorizing geometry propositions, Hazel VVhitley will a preacher marry, And our poet-Eula's poetic fame her pen will carry, To far and distant lands, on India's coral strand. Since it is natural in many cases, In every class there are several Graces, So the last of ours is Grace Peter-son, Who intends to play basketball till shi-'s HIM. Now Jack we think will be selling peaches, And Leslie making political speeches. And now we come to Julia, Tho, it may seem peculiar, She a member of congress is And still is known as Miss, At last but not least, Frank will be, 7 A lawyer making an eloquent plea. Since Miss Anthony is our Class teacher, To Say We think it is proper to give her oustanding feature, S0 she will invent a spanking machine, To use on future '4Seniors, when they are mean.
