Since Elvis Pressley has shaved his side - burns, Bobby King is occupying the throne, and his new record release is I ' d Rather Drag with a Hag with a Shape Like a Bag Than Dance with a Dolly with a Nose Like Joanne Rikard ' s new organization in Texas is gaining fame. She owns a ranch along with her husband, Leo Foxx, where she ' s picking cotton and plucking chickens at the same time. The Cotton Picking Chicken Plucker Company will soon offer shares in the business. Susie Ford is chief soloist at the Dogwood Room. Once while rehears- ing on a train, she broke all the plates and glasses when she struck a high C note. Jane Long is a social manager in a well-known African town. She is so well liked that many cannibal chiefs have asked her out for dinner. Y vonne Lee is now a famous dance instructor, and has gone to Alaska to teach the Eskimos how to hula in ten easy lessons. June Morris, who is heralded as a sec- ond Grace Kelly, has just been married to his Highness, Prince Marcell. Theyplanon a lot of little heirs for the throne of Belgium. David Starrett, who never stopped growing, is a profes sional basketball player . He remark - ed that it ' s okay, but the overhead lights sometimes foul up his shots in the gym. Sue McClure and Carolyn Bishop are rodeo stars; they fly jets on the sideline. William Guy recently swam the English Channel in 2 hours 16 minutes. He says now he wants to swim around Japan, just for kicks. Charles Wallace is now coaching the Eagle team and doing fine. I hear Oklahoma has challenged us, but Charles wants to take on the tough ones first. Glenda Stiles owns a toddler shop; she designs baby clothes for a New York concern. Nancy Williams is called the greatest thing since Rembrandt. She paints billboards for Muriel Cigar s . Nancy Jackson has gone in for wild animal training. She was currently going about the world with her act of several dangerous animals. She has them eating out of the palm of her hand. Shelia Shereris now an oil well tycoon. She accidentally discov- ered oil when she fell in a gopher hole in T exas . Danny Brandon is a professor at Yale where he teaches advanced calculus. He really was just a student but showed such remarkable intellect, the Dean put him in place of his professor. Phyllis Holland is the chief hole puncher in a doughnut factory. Phil is right when she states that it isn ' t easy to get far in this holey business. Kenneth Gibson is the big name in sports. He had recently won the World ' s Heavy Weight Title . The loser hasn ' t found all his teeth yet. Jerry Jackson is a sports car enthusiast; He is also owner of a company which makes Specially -Built Hot Rod Mufflers. Jimmy Hawkins has taken over Spike Jones ' band.
