CLASS ADVISURS To the Graduating Class of 1959: I extend my warm and sincere congratu- lations. Since you are my first graduating class I take special pleasure and increased pride in presenting you to an extremely troubled and angry world. For with you, the citizenry of tomorrow, lies my faith, faith that you and your lcind will extinguish the fires of hatred, build the bridges of cooperation and under- standing. Your task is exceedingly difficult but, I feel assured that your presence, abili- ties, and efforts will make this world a far better place in which to live. ,,, an To Members of the 1959 Class: The cornerstone of peace and worldly living is knowledge and understanding. As the people of the world become more enlightened, our responsibilities to others become of greater proportions. As enlightened people of the world, we should learn to tolerate other people's ideas and customs. The true road to world peace is by understanding other people's prob- lems, conditions of living, and their needs, and extending to them fellowship, useful mater- ials and practices of American heritage, all of which we have been blessed with abundantly. Perhaps, with lasting peace in the world, you will enjoy the tolerance and success in life as the true dream of reality in worldly living. .CZJCEQ
