I SAMUEL KIZER Bom on Jrme 29, 1936, 'Sam- my died on Oct. 4, 1956. we were greatly saddened by his death which came as a sharp blow to those who were privi- leged to know him. His friend- ly, outgoing nature endeared him to his classmates. In Memoriam GORDON WALKER We deeply regret the loss of our true friend and fellow class- mate, Bud Walker. He was bom on Oct. 28, 1938, and died on Jan. 20, 1953. In his passing we lost a truly wonderful friend. 2 HJMUND STERMER Bom on Feb. 2, 1940, hissud- den and surprising death onSept. 4, 1956 shocked his classmates. Our class pays tribute to this quiet, friendly boy.

In Dedication WALTER CLARK Mr. Clark received his bachelor and master's degrees at Bucknell University. He began his long and extensive career in 1909 when he became principal of public schools in Woolrich, Pa. In 1910 he moved to Sabinsville and was principal there until 1921. During this time he served one year in the army. He moved to the Westfield High School where he was supervising principal until 1924. He was then appointed Assistant County Superintendent of Schools in Tioga County. Two years later, in 1936, he became Superintendent. Dur- ing his term he has brought about one educational advance after an- other. This prominent leader has put much time and energy toward the progress of the future Cowanesque Valley Junior-Senior High School. Mr. Clark is very active in Masonic work and the Red Cross. He is the manager of the most popular entertainment in Westfield, the theatre. In 1956 Mr. Clark retired from public life to devote his time to his many other interests.
