These people proved to be trustworthy and competent. The first official duty the president assumed was to appoint five members to his cabinet: the secre- taries of activities, publicity, sales, assemblies, and athletics. The task of handling correspondence fell into the able hands of the secretary of records. Keeping the financial trans- action in order was the iob of the secretary of finance and her assistant. These people carried the ball for our team.

ASSETS TO THE CAMPUS were the maintenance workers. Punctuality was the theme of the amiable bus drivers. These men, dressed in blue, were al- ways on the iob. Delicious food was prepared by expert chefs. Appetites were appeasecl when the delectable food was devoured. Excellent reading material was provided by the library staff. Many of these books kept readers burning the midnight oil in order to terminate the suspense created by the fine author. Cleanliness was practiced by the efficient custodians. Four members from each class were elected by popular vote to till the coveted positions. They were accountable for en- acting regulations vvhich they deemed necessary. The vice- president of the student body was the president of the legislature. All members had to maintain a grade average of UC and could not receive lower than C while in ottice.
