Under the able supervision of Mr. Milton, Mr. Newman, and Miss Davis, a very co-operative group was organized. The officers include: Henry Lee Go, president, Helen Castanho, sec- retary, Reginald Jang, treasurer, Mary Ellen Leary, representative, and Bob Fukushima, pub- licity director. After a fairly rugged initiation the class was officially a member of the stuzlent body. March 31, 1949, the Courtland C.S.F. took a field trip. Early in the morning the fifty-one students clambered aboard a Courtland High bus and headed directly for Berkeley. When they arrived, a group of college students met them and showed them around the university grounds. As the campus is very large and spread out, it took the whole day to tour it.
