Senioritis! SENIORITIS (sen-yor-i-tis): A senior who experiences the loss of an inner drive which compels a student to achieve. Warning Signs: One of the most obvious warning signs appears on the first report card of the senior year. First Stage: The victim tends to postpone or even cancel the production of homework. He often arrives to class after the tardy bell rings. The carrier is induced into a state of sleep between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. as exhibited by Bill Sakaske in the photo. Second Stage: As the disease begins to manifest itself, the student finds it easier to forgive his more than occasional late morning wake up call. Also, the victim ' s books never actually leave his locker. Third Stage: At this point the victim experiences a complete withdrawal from school-related activities. Cures: A day off from school spent at the beach will reduce the harshness of the disease, but, the the only proven cure for the ailment is graduation. 1) You have mastered all of your Teachers ' signatures. 2) You think (or rather know) that you are smarter than your teachers 3) You feel that seniors are the only upperclassmen. ' i 4) You do not wake up until sixth period.
