The Perfect End To A New Beginning Miraculously, with the combined effort of both staff and students, 1987 was survived. Although obtacles new and old(new population, old ceiling tiles) stood in the way, determination for a successful year was always present. The ability to change, work as a team, and accept new challenges was the key to success. Together We Can was certainly an appropriate theme. The year was not just inflated talk or PR hype it was changing, working, and making Mesa the best that it could be. As we sum up the year for the Seniors and start the new year for the Underclassmen, remember. High School is a single word that can represent nearly every adjective in the book.
