Winter Formal Mesa Pride pulled off another wonderful Winter Formal. This year ' s Winter Formal was held at the Anaheim Hilton on the even- ing of January 22, 1988. About 130 Costa Mesa High School Students attended, both as couples and in groups of friends. The theme of the event was a Masqued Ball. Although only a few students wore masks, the theme was carried out beautifully in the decorations and the table centerpieces. Disc Jockey Rick Izaguirre provided the music and light show. The cost for the evening was $15 per person. This included soft drinks and hot and cold hors d ' oeuvres. Becky you are embarassing me! Itt4-At;livities Oh PLEASE Denise, I don ' t buy that. Dirty River Basketball Game This year history repeated itself. Once more, the experience of the faculty dominat- ed the egocentric seniors. The score was not very close throughout most of the game, but there was plenty of excitement to rouse the capacity crowd. The Dirty River Basketball Game is sponsored by the CMHS baseball team.
