The Hitching Post In their second year with the Hitching Post, the computers made life not only ea- sier on the editors, but also more fun. This year ' s staff covered a wide range of topics not only having to do with Costa Mesa High School but with the world. The Mustang of the issue was again a big hit among the students and faculty. With computer ' s play- ing a major role in the construction of the Hitching Post, and the fine young editors writing it. the Hitching Post has secured it- self a place in Costa Mesa High School ' s future. Winter Formal Mesa Pride pulled off another wonderful Winter Formal. This year ' s Winter Formal was held at the Anaheim Hilton on the even- ing of January 22, 1988. About 130 Costa Mesa High School Students attended, both as couples and in groups of friends. The theme of the event was a Masqued Ball. Although only a few students wore masks, the theme was carried out beautifully in the decorations and the table centerpieces. Disc Jockey Rick Izaguirre provided the music and light show. The cost for the evening was $15 per person. This included soft drinks and hot and cold hors d ' oeuvres. Becky you are embarassing me! Itt4-At;livities Oh PLEASE Denise, I don ' t buy that.
