As a result of the merging of Davis and Mesa, the Davis constitu- tion was no longer valid. Therefore, they did not have a student council. Instead they had student representatives, who act- ed as student council. Their responsibilities in- cluded selling dance tick- ets, setting up the dances, and letting the other students know of upcoming events. Though the Wranglers were the only seventh and eigth grade club this year, their efforts were of great value. They sold Spook and Santa grams and donated the money earned to the Ray Center and the Orangewood home, which benefit abused and home- less people of our community. CC ' Lost in space. Knotts Knotts Berry Farm was the scene of excitement for most sev- enth and eight graders. As an in- centive, the honor role students are awarded a special field trip for each grading period. Ideas for the trips include Disneyland. Knotts Berry Farm, and Wild Rivers. The students are therefore motivated to work harder and more accu- rately. They look forward to the reward and love the idea. One stu- dent commented. It ' s a really cool idea! You get to go with all your friends, it ' s a lot of fun.
