Vietnamese Club The Vietnamese Club had a very productive year. They believe in school spirit and club unity and have worked hard to promote it with their activities. Such activities included selling eggrolls and rice during lunch, taking a trip to Hollywood to watch the taping of two television shows (invit- ing non-members to join them as well), and, during the month of February, celebrating the Chinese New Year by having a club barbeque. A.P. Chemistry A. p. Chemistry has been a very active group here at Mesa this year. Some of the fundraisers they have participated in include bake sales and selling Easter grams. The grove has also planned a few sock-hops, in hopes to promote school spirit. The money from these fun- draisers will be used to help pay for the A.P. exam at the end of the year. After completing the test, the club plans on putting on a Chemis- try Magic Show and perform for the other sci- ence classes on campus. This was the first year A.P. Chemistry has started a club. Fall Play This year ' s fall production of Agatha Chris- tie ' s A Murder is Announced was a tremen- dous success. The audience was sitting on the edge of their seats waiting to find out who did it. It was a suspenseful murder mystery con- taining an all but ordinary cast of characters. The play ' s characters included: Letty Blacklock (Ruth McLain) , Miss Jane Marple (Anna Fitz- water).
