The Underclass section was especially challeng- ng this year. The incorporation of the seventh and eighth grade students into the yearbook went smoothly but required more work for our staff members. In order to get input from the Junior High, we spoke to the representatives from both grades. They helped identify and select candid pictures and kept us informed of activities and events. We appreciate their help and are pleased with the results of our combined efforts. We hope that the following sections not only cater to all involved, but represent each class as the individuals that they are. Underclass-109

Presenting Our Favorite Excuses For Late Homework and Tardies Excuses, Excuses. Students constantly come up with good (and not so good) reasons for not turning in homework and a host of other problems. Below are some of the best (and worst) excuses compiled from talking to teachers and stu- dents. Excuses for not turning in homework: My puppy chewed it up. My mom thought it was trash and threw it out. 1 was in the Library, studying, and I left it in a book. It was in the trunk of the car. I ' m a senior! I had to much homework. I made a paper airplane and it got hijacked! I wish she was mine forever. Excuses for being tardy: The hall was too crowded My locker was jammed. I had to run back to my locker to get my work.
