Frosh-Soph, J. . Promise Strong Future The 1977-78 Junior Varsity and Frosh-Soph Water- polo teams fared well in South Coast League play. J.V., led by junior regulars Hal Turley, Steve Bar- tosik, John Earnest, Perry Zachary and Tod Pickett, finished in a tie for second place with an overall 5-2 rec- 0I'Cl. i- Frosh-Soph, led all year by Keith Yarwood and Robin Fross, paced steadily to an overall 4-3 success in CQ!! M league and a third place finish. YXXXQN With excellent coaching by Bob Shupp, the newest Q , S member of the Mustang coaching staff, these two teams gained great experience for next year's season. Shupp will replace departing head coach Terry Bowen for the 1978-79 season and will coach the varsity squad. Adding the talent from this seasonls Frosh-Soph and Junior Varsity squads to the returning varsity letter- men should insure a league contender in the coming year. L 2 gevvt ' .A -5' I.
