Malt SL Fine Arts Stress Individuality Talent is a word used to describe ac- complishments of skill. Artistic is hav- ing a taste or inclination for art. To- gether, they make a large selection of trades to choose from as you grow older. The Fine Arts Department enjoys teaching as well as participating in these fields. In drama the challenge is to remold your life into a completely different character. 'fGo With It is a common expression repeatedly used by the art teachers to set the studentis minds to work. The actual clicking of the camera is the easy part in being a photographer, it's the actual printing of the photo that is taught by the photography depart- ment. Meeting your deadline, calling the printer, or writing your copy make up the publications program. Music, Speech and Debate attempt to mold the feelings of the audience, either with words or musical notes. MALT also stresses individuality within the school atmosphere. The pro- gram includes student activated class- es and studies. With the aid of their in- structors, basic subjects are taught, along with classes in nutrition, IPC fin- ter-personal communication,J and newspaper production. An example of their productiveness, is the new mural adorning the Music room wall. The pro- gram continues to grow and develop, promising great success. 1.
