Physical Arts Very Important This year, the P.E. department offered classes to fit the needs of almost every stu- dent. Besides the usual classes such as volly- ball and basketball, courses in bowling, soc- cer and sailing were offered. All of the in- structors worked hard to make this year's P.E. classes interesting to everyone, even though many doubled as coaches. A student enrolled in safety education is eligible for his drivers license after a semes- ter course of Link trainer and classroom discussion, behind the wheel driving and tests covering the importance of these areas The instructors are repeatedly stressing the importance of safety and teaching de- fensive driving. Their jobs are especially essential be- cause they are putting new drivers on the road. 1. Early morning P.E. classes are sure to wake you up. 2. Bob Shupp enjoys his students. 3. These girls obviously enjoy their dance class. 4. Pierre Desmet demonstrates his unique technique in raquetball. 5. Terry Bowen shows us his new hairstyle. 6. This Divi- sion offers a large selection of classes to each student. Three years of English are required to graduateg two of foreign language are re- quired to go to the University of California.
