Actually, it wasn't magic at all, the floor was carpeted and game tables were set up by hard working members of S.E.D.D. Cheerleaders were dressed as cocktail waitresses and tantalized the gamblers with their unmatched charm. TransAm provided background music. Judy Lux sang her way into the gambler,s hearts, and David Meek dis- played his own special talent for magic during the floor shows. The night ended with an auction of prizes donated by local merchants. Bill Graham acted as auctioneer and it wasnlt long until everyone had spent his money and the room was transformed back to our gym as we know it. Only that didn't happen by magic either. I. For the Winter Concert, several weeks later, their hard work paid off with spontaneous applause and calls for encores . f The Chaffey and OCC jazz festivals kept the group busy perfecting their techniques and improvising. Fin- ishing off the year, Stage Band performed in the Spring Concert. I. There goes my double E , 2. It's all in the wrist Ken, not in the pucker. 3. Sue Wright honks her way to victory. .Si- Ft.
