200 ACTIVITIES Last Year For Club Memorable And Worthwhile Once a week, in room 207, a group of students met with Mrs. Ruth Gottuso and Mr. Doug Brown to share their ideas. The name of the group is The Sunshine Club, or Bible Club. The goal of the club is to help those involved to become better individuals in serving God, their school, their community and each other. The club brought students together regardless of age, race or religion to discuss spiritual philosophies and concepts in order to reach their goal. The Sunshine Club suffered a great blow this year because of a law suit filed against Huntington Beach Unified High School District. In the outcome of the case, it was established that the first amendment of the Constitution canit permit them to meet . . . the club will be missed. I. Ros Pellieotti listens attentively. 2. C.S.F. Raises Money French Club Sells Crepes C.S.F. stands for California Scholarship Federation and is geared toward getting the student body interested in higher education. Another of the main objectives is to decide the winner of a S100 scholarship at the end of the year. This money is raised by car washes and selling refreshments at school dances. French Club had fun this year selling crepes and sell- ing out whenever they did. They also took trips to French restaurants and folk dancing festivals. Watching French films and experimenting with French cooking was en- joyed by everyone, while learning one of the most roman- tic languages of the world. l.
