Concert Choir Sings Through Another Season All jesting aside, Concert Choir had some hairy exper- iences when visited by Dr. Jester Hairston. The choir put soul into the music as they sang negro spirituals written by Dr. Hairston. Of course, the singers also had the usual, hectic sched- ule of concerts in both the Fall and Spring. Christmas performances included carolling at Leisure World, Knott's Berry Farm, Orange Coast College and a festival at the Park Newport. Spring brought the Las Vegas trip. Choir members were housed by residents of Las Vegas. This favor was indirectly returned by our group housing the Manache Chamber Singers. The sad, but happy, Pops Concert ends the year. This is the chance the choir gets to rock outf, This is the Seniors' goodbye concert. When the curtain closes, there are many teary eyes and fond embraces. I. Mr. B. says, Magnifique! 2. Key Club Involved In School And Our Community Key Club is a group of involved young guys, sponsored bythe Kiwanis Club, who care about the general welfare of our school and our community. They played a major role in many school activities such as Freshman Orientation, Back To School Night, and Las Vegas Night. Among other community oriented projects, the Key Club donated their time to the Costa Mesa Recreation Department and the March of Dimes Fund for crippled children. Seth Greiner did an excellent job in his second year as the club's president. I.
