any Students Make Dance A Big Success Because of such a large enrollment, the largest ever, Dance Production students had to learn the art of coop- erating with each other, working together in a team effort to make it a good year. The success of their efforts was displayed in their two dance shows in the Lyceum. The girls worked hard in competition for the three scholarships available and the recipients were pleased and proud that their efforts were rewarded. There is a fall and spring show, and also the Connie May Memorial Scholarship given to a graduating junior or senior to further their dancing career. Mrs. Feducia, as always, did an excellent job as the director of the group. I. Terry Winters starred in -Qodspell as Jesus, and received a scholar- ship for her solo. 2. Dance Show Produces 'Magical Musical Moods, Dance Production,s first show of the year was titled 'fMagical Musical Moods. It was performed in the Lyceum on December 2 and 3, and was rightfully honored with a sell-out both nights. A special attraction this year was the outstanding lighting and sound effects added by Paul Fabre and Bob Lloyd. The water curtain and strobe light added an awe-inspiring dimension to the already excellent performances. Scott King designed the set. The show was a combination of solos, duets, and group dances featuring many scenes from Godspell. Receiving the annual S50 scholarship were Teri Winters and Teri Packard. I. Charleston starred Michelle Nunes, Lori Brown, Jerrilyns Myre, and Mary DeMino. 2. 'fRhythmic Ribbons was danced by Kathy Mollica and Nancy Miller. 3.
