Advanced rama usy With Festivals And Plays Advanced drama was kept busy, as usual, this year. The first project of the year was a drama festival held at Reseda High School. Two of the scenes made it as far as the semi-finals. For practice before the festival, the scenes were presented to English classes. Three, one-act plays, directed by Donna Kristiansen, were put on one night in January. Despite many absences during rehearsals, they were a success. The spring semester brought about two more festivals. The first was the annual Long Beach Festival. ln April, they participated in the Shakespeare Festival for the first time. It was a new experience for all. Combined with Drama Productions, the year ended with Potpourri.', l. A typical Ron Waters, Put my hands down, you're under arrest. 2.
