Stagecrafts Kept Busy With School Productions Stagecrafts is a cross between a class and a club. There is class time allotted during the day for this activity, but there is also much time spent outside of class to prepare the stage for various productions. This class was responsible for making props, setting lighting, rigging sound equipment and general stage maintenance for all school productions. These people had lots of fun showing their special king of talent for The Matchmakerf' Farmer Giles and the Dragon, The Crucible, and Potpourri.', The fearless leader of this class of clowns was Mr. Bob Schnurstein. I. Bob Lloyd knows that working in Stage Crafts too long will drive you crazy. 2. Advanced rama usy With Festivals And Plays Advanced drama was kept busy, as usual, this year. The first project of the year was a drama festival held at Reseda High School. Two of the scenes made it as far as the semi-finals. For practice before the festival, the scenes were presented to English classes. Three, one-act plays, directed by Donna Kristiansen, were put on one night in January. Despite many absences during rehearsals, they were a success. The spring semester brought about two more festivals. The first was the annual Long Beach Festival. ln April, they participated in the Shakespeare Festival for the first time. It was a new experience for all. Combined with Drama Productions, the year ended with Potpourri.', l. A typical Ron Waters, Put my hands down, you're under arrest. 2.
