--M-.ezs.,, QP CEE The Cee team was made up mainly of freshmen and sophomores. Tim Salyer and Randy l-Ienkle have been the high scorers so far in league meets. As swimmers progress in their times they may go up to the Bee's which gives many new boys a chance to swim in competition. The record so far this year has been five wins and three losses, but this record is sure to improve as the more in- experienced boys improve their swimming times. ROW 1: B. Stevens, P. Hughes, B. Coach Russ Larson's Varsity track team this year was probably the strong- est the school has ever had. So far this year, the team led by hurdler jerry McPherson, has met defeat only once by the defending champions, Bolsa Grande. McPherson has already broken two re- cords. Mike Meehan, besides being the best shot man, also had a top high jump of 6 ft. Brent Turner and Barry Kazmar were second and third in the high jump. The Relay team of john Ball, Bill Dunn, jeff Krumpermann, and Larry Maland had unofficially broken the 880 relay with a time of l:3l.8 at Southern Coun- ties. Les Bland is the top vaulter at l2'6 . The Mustang Bee and Cee teams up to publication time are still undefeated. Several school records will probably be CII- broken before the season is over.
