These students brought enjoyment to their fellow students and to the community through their programs, which were held throughout the year. Also, a new group, named the Madrigals, was formed, Which is composed of fifteen members of the Concert Choir. I thought this dress was an origina A CAPPELLA CHOIR The A Cappella Choirwas a group ofapproxi- mately sixty girls from the sophomore, jun- ior, and senior classes. The group, under the direction of Mr. Gerald Schroeder, did an outstanding job of building the good repu- tation of Costa Mesa High School through the high quality of its musical concerts. Among the fine achievements was a stirring Christ- mas Concert at Orange Coast College, com- bining the talents of the A Cappella Choir, Concert Choir, and the Orchestra.

Among the concerts they played' in were the school Christmas concert, the Spring Concert and the schoolmusical. Accompanied by groups from the vocal depart- ments, the orchestra had one of its extremely good years . ' Another group from Liverpool makes good.
