BIOLOGY CLUB The Biology Club this year was organized for students interested in finding out more about the study of life. These students entered their school projects in science fairs and took field trips . They heard in- teresting lectures given by many science teachers andmade displays for classroom use. HI-FLIERS A newly formed club this year was Hi-Pliers This club, which consisted of girls 5'7 and over, had such activities as singing Christmas Carols at Fairview State Hospital and putting on a fall fashion show for the Girls League. Mrs. Mauch, the Club's advisor, was aided by juli e Kaneaster, the president, in holding meetings every Tuesday afternoon. You had square dancing in P. E. ???? ROW 1: C. Daleo, C. Foss, M. FUTURE HOMEMAKERS The Future Homemakers Club this year worked toward promoting a growing ap- preciation of the joys and satisfaction of homemaking. It stressed democracy in the home and leadership in community life. Also a deeper interest in home eco- nomics was developed. During the year the club had guest speakers at the meet- ings and planned money making projects for club use. Easy Sewing Book, that's a laugh! Oh swell, I won a cupcake!

RADIO ELECTRONICS The Radio Electronics club was made up of students who were interested in ham and short Wave radios. Collins Radio Companysponsored the club and donated equipment for research Frequently, Collins hadmeetings for student ham radio operators with guest speakers. The club Went on frequent field trips to compare and demonstrate their equipment to other schools. Costa Mesa has the most active and resourceful Radio Electronics Clubs in the entire district.
