Thisrwas done through its activi- ties Which included many field trips. The members also saw slides and pic- tures of Mexico, and listened to many guest speakers at the meetings. This organ- ization also helped to promote the ideas of peace and friendship with other countries through this student ambassador program A.F.S. sponsored adance, called the Mat- suri at the close of A.F,S. GERMAN CLUB Promising a greater interest in the study of the German language as a cultural and scientific communication was the main objective of the German Club. This club also provided the opportunity for the study of Germany, especially its geography, people and culture.
