SEWER Ellllgll With weak, wobbly knees, and saucer eyes, the be- wildered little sophomores, now known only as the solid seniors, entered into their first term at CHS. The student body gave us a nice reception and school life became a routine. Our officers, Doran Anderson, Putter Morse, Alice Russell, and Bob Webster, helped to make our sophomore year a well organized and successful one. The sophomore party was strictly hillbilly style, but the assembly we put on later proved to the other classes that we were anything but hillbillies. Our junior class officers, Paul Lee, John Schaffer, Alice Smith, and Clarence Paul, led us through a year that brought in the money. We harvested filberts, beets, and almost everything. The iunidr sales committee kept the school supplied in refreshments at all the athletic func- tions. lt was this class that won thedstudent body ticket race and put on the swell comedy, Brother Goose. ln the same year, we financed and decorated the all-school formalfthus admitting every boy and girl that wanted to come. Completing our senior year and our history in CHS, we find such competent officers as Doran Anderson, Dick Edmondson, Mary Gearey, and Beatrice Funk. Keeping up our reputation of winning, we bought more bonds and student body tickets than any other class. This year's Circus brought lots of excitement as did the newly organized Variety Shows 'on Friday, sponsored by the noon hour committee. The class of forty-five leaves its gift as a token of thanks to the school for three years of educational guidance in leadership, cooperation, and scholastic achievement. . .f SEWER MSS lllfflmflilg Top row: Doran Anderson, Dick Edmondson.
